Approach and background

I work collaboratively to build a therapeutic relationship that is kind, confidential and trustful. You may bring whatever is on your mind and I will listen and support you towards your goals.

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor offering a welcoming, respectful and compassionate place in which to explore challenges and opportunities.

Working integratively means using several psychotherapeutic theories to create a consistent and holistic approach. I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic and attachment theory and incorporate bodywork into my practice.

I offer short and long-term open-ended counselling to adults to address loss and bereavement, anxiety, depression, loneliness, shame, self-esteem, work issues, identity and belonging, relationships, trauma and intergenerational trauma.

Together we might explore your early experiences, your current thoughts, feelings, behaviours, aspirations and resources, and what has meaning for you.
